Le numéro hivernal de votre Bulletin éducatif vous apporte quelques opportunités à saisir avant le printemps.

Mais tout d'abord, lumière sur Midway Elementary à Lexington (SC) qui vient de célébrer l'obtention du Label FrancEducation pour la qualité de son programme d'immersion en français. Félicitations!

Professeurs et élèves, sortez vos stylos: plusieurs appels à projets sont en cours. 

Du côté des étudiants, la date limite pour le TAPIF a été étendue au 15 février et les candidatures pour le Thomas Jefferson Fund sont ouvertes jusqu'au 28 février.

Du côté des professeurs, vous avez jusqu'au 9 mars pour nous envoyer vos candidatures pour les stages pédagogiques de courte durée en France.
Par ailleurs, pour les membres d'une association ayant pour but de promouvoir la France, soutenir les Français de l'étranger et plus largement les publics francophones, le dispositif STAFE pourrait vous intéresser.

La Francophonie se prépare! Découvrez le concours de dessin organisé par Francophonie Atlanta et le concours d'écriture créé en partenariat avec Pluma Magazine.

IT HAPPENED LAST MONTH!

On January 22, Midway Elementary in Lexington (SC) offcially celebrated its LabelFrancEducation.

The LabelFrancEducation is awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to DLI schools that have distinguised themselves for the high quality of their programs. 

Midway Elementary is now part of the worldwide network of accredited schools, one of the five in the Southeast and the first one in South Carolina!

Félicitations!

LAST DAYS TO APPLY | TEACHING ASSISTANT PROGRAM IN FRANCE

Each year, over 1600 Americans go to France and teach English in French public schools for 7 months.

Feel like taking part in this program and join the 27000 TAPIF Alumni across the U.S? TAPIF application deadline has been extended!

Applications for 2020-2021 school year are open until February 15.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 28, 2020.

The 2020 Thomas Jefferson Fund call for applications is open until February 28. 

Created by the French Embassy in the U.S and the FACE Foundation, this program supports outstanding young French and American researchers's joint project in STEM, Sciences for society and Humanities. 

Selected projects will receive up to $20,000 over a period of two years.

5-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOPS | APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 29, 2020

If you want to implement French for professional purposes to your curriculum, take a look at our upcoming workshops organized in partnership with the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

French for business, French for international relations as well as French for health and humanitarian aid are on the program. These 5-day trainings will take place in New York (NY), St Louis (MO) and Chapel Hill (NC).

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 9, 2020

The SPCD program, offering short summer teacher trainings in France, is now calling for applications!

14 positions at the CAVILAM for teachers of French, 6 positions at the CLA for DLI teachers and 2 positions at BELC for teachers who want to become accredited trainer for our network will be offered by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy. 

Applications are due March 9.

A PROGRAM TO SUPPORT PROJECTS IN FAVOR OF FRENCH CITIZENS ABROAD LED BY ASSOCIATIONS | APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 11, 2020

If you are members of a 501c3 whose missions are promoting France, supporting French citizens abroad and French-speaking people through educational, cultural or economical projects, the STAFE program is for you.

Submitted applications will be studied by the consular committee before being sent to the national committee in Paris for the final selection.

PLUMA MAGAZINE : FRANCOPHONIE SPECIAL ISSUE

Tell us about the Francophonie and get a chance to be published in the April 2020 special issue of Pluma Magazine!

Call for articles is open until February 28, 2020.

Organized by the Cultural Services in Atlanta, Pluma Magazine and AATF, this writing contest is open to 8-12 grade students.

This year's drawing contest, presented by Francophonie Atlanta, will turn La Fontaine's Fables into drawings and comics! 

Elementary school and middle school students can send their contributions by March 16.
