ltd los angeles presents Parade a solo exhibition by French artist Chloé Quenum. This will be here first international solo exhibition.

This project proposes to be a exhibition, publication, performance, and residency. castillo/corrales will be hosted here in Los Angeles and will run a series of lectures, events and meetings. During the course of the series, Public Fiction and castillo/corralles will release a series of broadsheets that will serve as dispatches, each one marking a turn in the collaboration and evidence of our exchange.

Michaël Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak originally established M/M (Paris) as a graphic design studio in 1992. Their close associations with the music, fashion and art worlds have led to their becoming one of the most distinctive and acclaimed creative voices of their generation.

This exhibition will feature the solo work of French artist, Aude Pariset. It will revolve around the idea of hospitality.

“Cellular Streams” is an Audio Video site specific installation from Marianne Magne‘s ongoing  ”Transitory Conditions” series which began in 2005.

William Clift, born in Boston in 1944, was a self-taught photographer whose 60 year career began at age 10. Clift’s work is known for its clarity and intensity. He photographed Shiprock and Mont St. Michel over the course of four decades.

The Next Arena and Mistral Productions present VINCENT. A few days after the death of little known painter Vincent Van Gogh, rumors are flying in Paris. Some say he was a penniless madman, a frequenter of prostitutes, a derelict and soon to be forgotten artist of trifling quality.

This family show explores the beauty, poetics, and inspiration in daily life.  The work reveals the unique in everything around us.  Through the bodies of the performers, movement becomes dance, noise becomes song.  Household events, like a shower and the cacophony of dishes, are transported into the marvelous.

Salastina Music Society presents an eclectic program featuring rising stars of chamber music. The evening's classical musical selections include Mozart's's "Clarinet Quintet", Purcell's "Dido's Lament", Debussy's "Danse sacrée et danse profane"...

City Charter Elementary School is the dream of community members, parents, educators, and experienced charter operators to start a smaller, alternative learning community in West Adams with a focus on dual language immersion.

The charter petition was unanimously approved by the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) on Jan 15, 2013. If you have a child who will turn 5 this year and if you are interested in enrolling them, please contact the school by email at frenchimmersionla@gmail.com. This travel grant aims at giving American students an opportunity to discover France. It is open to sophomore, junior & senior students who are enrolled in a double major including one major in French and one major in another discipline. Consideration will also be given to students enrolled in a minor/certificate in French and majoring in another subject.

Forêt Intérieure/Interior Forest is a dual-venue exhibition and publication by Los Angeles-based artist Alexandra Grant in collaboration with Paris-based writer Hélène Cixous.

The first edition of Paris Photo Los Angeles will take place from April 25th – 28th in the heart of the city at Paramount Pictures Studios. The fair will gather 80 international exhibitors, selected by a committee of gallerists.
