In an exhibition organized by the National Gallery of Art, Washington and the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth, some 50 paintings, from 1875 to 1882, will reveal the genius of Gustave Caillebotte. Such masterworks as Paris Street Scene, Rainy Day
(Art Institute of Chicago), Floor Scrapers (Musée d'Orsay) and two versions of the Pont de l'Europe
(Musée du Petit Palais, Geneva, and Kimbell Art Museum) are among the familiar images that will be joined by paintings from museums and private collections throughout the world. The third annual lecture in memory of Menil trustee Marion Knox Barthelme Fort, is presented by French critic, curator, and art historian Yve-Alain Bois, Professor of Art History at the Institute for Advanced Study in the School of Historical Studies at Princeton University, who will speak about American artist - painter, sculptor, printmaker - Ellsworth Kelly. He has explored pure abstraction with color, continually refining and simplifying his use of shapes and color relationships.

The filming conditions aren’t exactly what Henri expected... But his acting partner’s charm and the film master’s benevolence will make him grow and express feelings he had never known before. He produced two tracks on the 6th album of American rapper Kanye West, including the lead single “Black Skinhead” and “Send It Up”, both tracks produced with West, Daft Punk, Brodinski and Mike Dean.

under the patronage of film director Wes Anderson
to celebrate and support initiatives that explore France in new and creative ways. The Award is intended to help student organizations, eager to launch or continue a major France-related project on campus, by providing a unique package of funding, mentoring and networking. With this support, awardees will be expected to expose new audiences to France and French culture on their campus and beyond.
