From July 25 to July 28, do not miss out on the 5th edition of the Gray Area Festival, San Francisco's premier annual festival advancing culture and common good through the lens of art and technology. Augustin de Cointet, from Atelier des Lumières in Paris, will give a tak on July 26 at 1:30pm.

On July 27, join French artists Myriam Lefkowitz and Simon Ripoll-Hurier for a workshop at Kadist San Francisco. They have been experimenting with Remote Viewing for the past two years to explore its poetic, perceptual, and political potential. They have shared this practice through workshops and are shooting a film on the subject in the Bay Area this summer.

Many French events will happen at the San Francisco Public Main Library in July, including Bastille Day comedy "The Revolutionists", film screenings and a book club!

“Jean-Pierre is at once an actor and his aura”, said French director Olivier Assayas. If the French New Wave had a face, it might be the beaky, piercing-eyed visage of Jean-Pierre Léaud. A retrospective of his films will be screening at BAMPFA from July 4 to August 30.

Two French films will be presented during the 39th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival: "Henri Dauman" (Bay Area Premiere) and "Polish Honeymoon" (West Coast Premiere).

Photographer Evvy Eisen was born and educated in New York City and has lived in the Bay Area since 1966. Her photographs are currently on show at the Alliance Française de San Francisco. Don't miss the opening on July 11!
