In this sorrow-tinged romantic comedy, Parisian newlyweds travel to Poland, their honeymoon awkwardly doubling as a bid to reconnect with their Jewish heritage. Anna and Adam (Judith Chemla and Arthur Igual) celebrate their nuptials with a trip to their family homeland, leaving their newborn with grandparents. While Anna is eager to trace her roots, Adam reluctantly attends a memorial for an ancestral village destroyed in the war. Unable to bridge past and present in this strange yet familiar land, the eye-opening journey doesn’t go as planned. Awash with offbeat characters and absurd vignettes, this life-affirming charmer movingly conveys the void experienced by third-generation survivors. Moscow Film Festival FIPRESCI Critics prizewinner.

Diane Kruger headlines this intricate espionage cliffhanger about a Westerner-turned-rogue Mossad agent ensnared in global conspiracy. The time-jumping action centers on steel-eyed Rachel, a covert Israeli spy who vanishes without a trace. The only clue to her whereabouts is a cryptic call to her former handler Thomas (Martin Freeman), a Berlin-stationed British Jew. Amid tangled loyalties, he retraces her steps to determine if her transgressive affair with a Tehran businessman threatens a secret mission to sabotage Iran’s nuclear program. This authentic, slow-burning immersion into the dangerous realm of modern spy craft is based on the bestselling Israeli novel The English Teacher.

A bourgeois French couple is again challenged to move past their own prejudices and accept their multicultural family, in this outrageously funny sequel to the surprise international box office hit. The lovely Verneuil daughters are each married to men of varied ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds. Their well-off, traditional Catholic parents (Christian Clavier and Chantal Lauby) have finally stopped worrying and learned to love their diverse sons-in-law. But when circumstances prompt the daughters to uproot and leave France, the distraught elders try to hold them back. This decidedly politically incorrect comedy dismantles tribal stereotypes by tackling all-too-real issues of bigotry and intolerance with a big heart and go-for-broke humor.
