APPLICATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 29

The Institut Français has launched its 2018 call for applications, offering to cover expenses for studio-apartment rentals at the Cité internationale des arts de Paris, in the framework of an Artist-in-Residence program.

The program is aimed at non-French artists from all around the world who wish to pursue a research project in Paris for at least 3 months. The project must be supported by one or more cultural partners.

Application deadline: September 29th

DENTON, TX | SEPTEMBER 15 - DECEMBER 2

The exhibition "Adouron Bew (Components of the Dogon World)", by Malian artist Amahigueré Dolo, will be on view this Fall at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, after having completed last July a five-month exhibition at the Menil Collection in Houston, TX.

The internationally-recognized sculptor, whose works are particularly inspired by contemporary life of Dogon people in his natal village of Sanga Gogoli, spends his time between studios in Paris and Segou, Mali.

The Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Houston, the Consulate General of France in Houston and Campus France are inviting all Study Abroad advisors from Universities in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas for an afternoon information session in Houston, TX.

Participants will be given the opportunity to meet with the Consulate and Campus France's representatives in order to understand Campus France and student visas procedures.
