The Institut Français has launched its 2018 call for applications, offering to cover expenses for studio-apartment rentals at the Cité internationale des arts de Paris, in the framework of an Artist-in-Residence program. The program is aimed at

The exhibition "Adouron Bew (Components of the Dogon World)", by Malian artist Amahigueré Dolo, will be on view this Fall at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, after having completed last July a five-month exhibition at the Menil Collection in Houston, TX. The internationally-recognized sculptor, whose works are particularly inspired by contemporary life of Dogon people in his natal village of Sanga Gogoli, spends his time between studios in Paris and Segou, Mali.
