The exhibition "Adouron Bew (Components of the Dogon World)", by Malian artist Amahigueré Dolo, will be on view this Fall at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, after having completed last July a five-month exhibition at the Menil Collection in Houston, TX.

The internationally-recognized sculptor, whose works are particularly inspired by contemporary life of Dogon people in his natal village of Sanga Gogoli, spends his time between studios in Paris and Segou, Mali.

The Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Houston, the Consulate General of France in Houston and Campus France are inviting all Study Abroad advisors from Universities in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas for an afternoon information session in Houston, TX.

Participants will be given the opportunity to meet with the Consulate and Campus France's representatives in order to understand Campus France and student visas procedures.

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will be screening "From the Land of the Moon" (Mal de Pierres), a 2016 French film written and directed by Nicole Garcia, starring Marion Cotillard.

The Angelika Film Center in Dallas, TX and the Angelika Film Center in Plano, TX will be screening "Polina" (Polina, danser sa vie), a 2016 French drama film directed by Valérie Müller and choregrapher Angelin Preljocaj.

L'Alliance Francaise d'Austin Cine Club will be screening "La Loi de la Jungle", a 2016 French comedy film directed by Antonin Peretjatko, starring Vincent Macaigne, Vimala Pons, Pascal Légitimus and Mathieu Amalric.

The 1998 classic dark comedy "The Dinner Game" (Le Dîner de Cons) directed by Francis Weber, with Jacques Villeret and Thierry Lhermitte, will be screened at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
