This year again, France will have a strong presence in the official program of the three festivals at South by Southwest (SxSW), the annual world-renowned celebration of music, film and digital culture. Musical talents will be performing throughout the festival thanks to Bureau Export / France Rocks. French innovation will be showcased by Business France in the Trade Show on March 12-15 and at French House organized by La French Tech on March 14-15. For the first time, the European Union Delegation to the US will have its own venue. Come and discover an amazing selection of French and European talents and innovators at SxSW!

The Dallas Museum of Arts presents Daumier’s Political and Social Satire. The exhibition explores work exclusively from the DMA’s collection by French artist Honoré Daumier (1808–1879), known for his caricatures lampooning politics and society in 19th-century France.

The FACE Contemporary Theater call for proposals is now open. The program supports productions of contemporary playwrights, touring of French productions in the U.S and American productions in France, as well as residencies of directors and performers in both countries.

The 2017 call for proposals from the Thomas Jefferson Fund is now open.  This new program, launched by the French Embassy in the United States and the FACE Foundation with the support of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, aims to encourage and support cooperation among the most promising young French and American researchers, and foster forward-looking collaborative research projects.

DALLAS, TX | UNTIL APRIL 3

The  traveling exhibition Filming the Camps, from Hollywood to Nuremberg: John Ford, Samuel Fuller, George Stevens is on view at the Dallas Holocaust Museum. Curated by historian and film director Christian Delage, it is designed, created and distributed by the Mémorial de la Shoah (Paris, France).
