St. Louis International Film Festival (MO)

Saint Louis International Film Festival's goal is to present films that offer glimpses of the human experience from around the world (international films, documentaries, American indies, and shorts etc.) which include the Robert French and French-Language Focus sponsored by Jane M. & Bruce P. Robert Charitable Foundation.

Supported by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York & Chicago, UniFrance Films, Institut Français in Paris, TV5MONDE; and Centre Francophone at Webster University

DIRECTOR APPEARANCES
Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche

Director and star Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche tells powerful stories of oppression, resistance, and rebellion. Some of his films include Wesh wesh, Qu'est-ce qui se passe?, Back Home, and Dernier maquis.The Franco-Algerian filmmaker’s trans-national perspective enriches his cinema profoundly. A truly independent filmmaker, Ameur-Zaïmeche writes, directs, produces, and stars in all his films. In Saint Louis, Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche will be speaking about his work after the screening of his latest film The Story of Judas,  with film studies students at Webster and Linderwood Universities and a conference on diversity and cinema at the Centre Francophone at Webster University.
