DALLAS, TX | DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART | UNTIL AUGUST 8

French-Swiss artist Julian Charrière's first solo museum exhibition in the U.S. will be on view at the Dallas Museum of Art through August 8. 

This focused exhibition provides immersive encounters with the artist’s melancholic and beautiful portraits of nature in the human era, culminating with his most recent video project, Towards No Earthly Pole

ONLINE | ARTPACE SAN ANTONIO | MAY 27

Learn about France-based and Columbian artist and film director Iván Argote's practice, in this Virtual Welcome Dinner hosted by Artpace San Anotnio. Argote will be part of Artpace's International Artist-in-Residence program this summer along with artists Nao Bustamante and Michael Menchaca.

The event will give the opportunity to the three artists to present their plans for their residency in San Antonio.

On view through June 20 at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston: Hockney-Van Gogh: The Joy of Nature, revealing Van Gogh’s unmistakable influence on Hockney in a selection of carefully selected landscape paintings and drawings. MOODY CENTER FOR THE ARTS (HOUSTON, TX)

The Moody Center for the Arts has published its first-ever exhibition catalogue. Celebrating the voices of artists, it features interviews and statements by the artists included in the exhibition Artists and the Rothko Chapel: 50 Years of Inspiration, that was held this spring at the Moody.

Learn more about the creative legacy of the Rothko Chapel, founded by French-American art collectors and philanthropist John and Dominique de Menil.

The Transatlantic Mobility Program aims at increasing Franco-American student mobility by supporting American and French Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in developing study-abroad opportunities.

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S., together with NAFSA and the support of the U.S. Embassy in France, offer eligible institutions a grant of up to $15,000 to expand and diversify study-abroad programs on both sides of the Atlantic.
