A la Une de ce numéro, le 10ème anniversaire de France-Atlanta arrive à grands pas. Découvrez un avant-goût du programme bientôt dévoilé.
Du côté des professeurs, deux sessions de formation « Enseigner et Apprendre avec TV5Monde » à Columbia (SC) et Atlanta ainsi qu’un atelier pour les programmes d’immersion en français arrivent. N’hésitez pas à vous inscrire ! Retrouvez également les formations à venir à GSU-CULTR.
Si recevoir un représentant d’une ONG dans votre école vous intéresse, ne manquez pas le retour d’Education Series dans votre rubrique En classe ! Les inscriptions sont ouvertes.
Du côté des ressources, je vous propose de jeter un œil au nouveau site du Dual Language Toolkit créé par les services culturels de l’Ambassade. Vous y retrouverez de nombreux éléments pour le développement de vos programmes d’immersion.

France-Atlanta, our annual series of events, will return this year for its 10th anniversary!

Created by the Consulate general of France in Atlanta and Georgia Institute of Technology, France-Atlanta is centered on innovation to foster French-American cooperation in the fields od science, business, culture and humanitarian affairs.

Mies Van der Rohe Award: The European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture Exhibition.

Launched on August 28, the exhibition will be on display until the end of October at Georgia Tech, Stubbins Gallery.

DU CÔTÉ DES PROFESSEURS

Join one of the two workshops on how to learn and teach with the newly redesigned TV5Monde website.

These free one-day teacher training session wil be hosted at University of South Carolina, Columbia (SC) on September 27 and at GSU-CULTR, Atlanta (GA) on September 28.

Both will be led in French by Dr Jeanne Hageman.

Registrations are due by Monday, September 23.

You are a French teacher in DLI program, a DLI coordinator, a future French DLI teacher? This workshop is for you!

This workshop, the first of its kind, will be the occasion to discuss French DLI programs development by questioning challenges and solutions of various topics from francophone environment creation, resource use reading and early literacy strategies to DELF language assessment/ Label FrancEducation.

This free workshop will be hosted at Evansdale Elementary School on Saturday, October 5.

Registrations are due by September 28.

If you are located in metro-Atlanta and interested in hosting a presentation by an NGO representative at your school, applications are open now!
