On the occasion of the French Cultures Festival, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art presents four French movies.

This year, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy are present at South by Southwest (SXSW), the annual world-renowned celebration of digital culture. The Embassy collaborates with UBIFRANCE, Bonjour SXSW, Cap Digital, Bureau Export and Invest in France Agency to ensure the presence of the most innovative French digital professionals, startups and digital content producers.

Two French movies, "For a Woman" and "Like Brothers" are featured at the 10th Annual Houston Jewish Film Festival.

Firmly established as one of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts' most popular annual film series, Five Funny French Films delights and intrigues with innovative approaches to humor.

The Houston Museum of Fine Arts presents "Georges Braque : A Retrospective," featuring more than 75 of the French painter's most significant artworks.

"Magritte: The Mystery of the Ordinary, 1926–1938" is the first major museum exhibition at the Menil Collection to focus exclusively on the surrealist years of the Belgian artist, René Magritte, creator of some of the 20th century’s most exceptional images.

Harry Ransom Center at UT Austin presents "The World at War", a gripping exhibition that illuminates the experience of the war from the point of view of its participants and observers.

Et Voilà Theatre presents "Piège pour un Homme Seul," a French play by Robert Thomas at Talento Bilingue De Houston.

French scholar, Gabrielle Cadier-Rey, PhD., will be presenting selections from the intimate testimonies written during the 19th century by the utopic French community "La Réunion." Free admission.

Come meet Yaël Hassan, French-Israeli young adult fiction author at the Alliance Française de Dallas for a Q&A about her latest book "Mon Rêve d’Amérique."

How can we address World War I a century later? As the centennial of la Grande Guerre approaches, French publishers are releasing a wide range of new books and re-editions of old works on the subject. Luckily, several of these works will be available to American readers.
