“Diversity and inclusion: challenges and solutions. French and American perspectives” is the first student-led symposium on Diversity organized by the HKS Francophile Club and HKS Vice-President of Diversity, with the support of the French Consulate.

This event aims to facilitate best practices sharing and an open dialogue on the French and American models of inclusion by bringing together students, faculty and practitioners from France and the US. Beyond a mere for/against debate comparing two models, the ambition is to establish bridges between two perspectives on Diversity and Inclusion, in order to define a common set of actions to shared issues.

WAX TAILOR: January 20 @ Royale - Boston, MA

Labeled as black-post metal or “shoegaze”, Alcest were the pioneers within this genre, crafting a unique sound based on musical opposites. In 2014 the band departed from the more metal sound, in favor of dream-pop aesthetics.

Wax Tailor is a regular in Boston's concert venues. This French independent singer and composer entices fans worldwide with a unique musical blend of Hip-Hop, Soul and Funk.

The latest film from the critically acclaimed director Arnaud Desplechin, My Golden Days, is shown at the Brattle Theatre on January, 16th.

As Paul prepares for a new chapter in his life, he reflects on his youth through a series of flashbacks centering on Esther, the love of his life.

MyFrenchFilmFestival is the first entirely dematerialised French film festival. Geared towards Internet users worldwide and available for one month, it features a selection of 10 shorts and 10 feature films in competition that you can watch directly from home.

A collaboration among Harvard librarians, scholars, and digital humanists, the Charlie Archive at the Harvard Library is an evolving project that has collected a broad range of materials associated with the attacks in Paris in January 2015. This interactive exhibit features digital and ephemeral materials (caricatures, photos, paintings, poetry) documenting the moment in January 2015 when the word “Charlie” took on a tragic significance.

Each of the artists in The Artist’s Museum reimagines the lives of artworks and charts recurring forms and themes across cultures and history. One of the featured artists, Pierre Leguillon, accompanies a collection of artworks and photographs of dancers with a lightshow and soundtrack by Amy Winehouse in La Grande Evasion (The great escape), 2012.
