Cher·e·s ami·e·s, Dear friends,
It is time for me to follow a new path after five wonderful years spent working with you and the friendly team of the Consulate General of France in Boston and the larger ones at the Embassy in Washington and New York.  It was a true delight to meet with you along the years, in your class, during a training, a cocktail, on a convention or even at the office. It was also a thrill to organize ''La Fête de la Francophonie des écoles'' that gathered 4300 students and teachers and many more events since 2012.  As a teacher, assistant, professor, administrator, head of languages department, director or principal, you give everyday your passion for the teaching of French. I have admired and supported all your work during these five years and will keep a warm memory of our multiple adventures together. I will be returning to France after 28 years spent in North America at the end of November. A new chapter needs to be written.

His book The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education Is in Two Languages offers inspirational vignettes and practical advice that tells the story of the parents and educators who founded dual language programs in New York City public schools. Convinced that bilingual education is a public good that should be offered to all students, these pioneers illustrate how these programs can positively transform a community, a school, and even a country. The book also provides a “how to” manual for setting up one's own bilingual school and, in so doing, launching one's own revolution.
