Workshop for French Teachers: Exploring the Picture Book

The picture book, equally directed towards children and adults, is a literary and artistic genre in itself that is gradually gaining more and more acclaim. Janine Kotwica's workshop for French teachers will explore ways in which the picture book can be used in the classroom.

The French Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program offers American schools the chance to welcome young French educators to serve as teaching assistants in their institutions. FLTAs lead conversation groups, attend language laboratories, research and create class materials, etc.
